Magik is a serif typeface, contrasting and condensed. Its name evokes the world of magic and all that surrounds it: poker cards, tricks, illusionists, and shows. This typeface aims to surprise, captivate, and fascinate the viewer with its elegant, dynamic, and mysterious style.

The contrast between thick and thin strokes gives it a sophisticated and refined appearance, while its condensation adds strength and personality. Magik combines the classic and the modern, the rational and the emotional, the real and the fantastical. It includes all characters of the alphabet, both uppercase and lowercase, numerals, and some symbols. It is versatile and adaptable to different contexts and media, from posters and magazines to logos and websites, offering a wide range of creative possibilities.

This typeface was born out of a passion for magic and the dedication of an entire semester of study and experimentation to create a unique and original typeface. Magik was the result of a creative process that combined research, inspiration, sketching, digitisation, and editing of each character using the Glyphs programme. It stands out for its quality and attention to detail, having undergone rigorous legibility and coherence tests to ensure optimal performance at any size and resolution.
